School: North Point High School What’s up everybody?! My name is Chanel and I am a junior at North Point High School in Waldorf, Maryland. I love to write and express my love for fashion and style. I have plans on being a fashion journalists or being in public relations. But for now, I think I’ll enjoy the blogging here! I’m very determined and have a funny personality ( at least I think I’m funny), but most people might call me mysterious (my Scorpio personality) . I may bite my tongue on some things, but I prefer to speak my mind when it comes to my opinions on clothes, beauty, and school. Some of my favorite stores include Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and PacSun; my favorite makeup brands include Urban Decay, MAC, and NARS. Yes, I enjoy traveling, even to the mall. Last summer, I had the opportunity to go to a summer program at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, where I took a fashion journalism class that opened my eyes to the world of writing. I guess you could say the rest is history. I thought Dormify would be a great way to express fashion and style from a high school student’s point of view, seeing as how we are one of the major influences in the style world. We are all trying to find ourselves so we will be ready to pave our way through the college hallways with confidence knowing who we are.
