School: University of Maryland, College Park Sorority: Kappa Delta Hi all! My name is Emma Czarnopys, and I’m currently a junior Public Relations major at the University of Maryland. At just 20 years old, I am and will always be the “baby” of my friends. It coincidentally describes me perfectly with my obsession for all things Disney, the color pink, and of course puppies. (Specifically my chocolate lab and the love of my life, Coco.) Growing up in Montgomery County, Maryland, going away to school wasn’t exactly going away, aside from the fact that for the first time it was up to me to design my very own space. So when I moved into my first apartment my freshman year at UMD, I jumped on the opportunity to design a room that was 100% mine. After months and months of shopping, lots of complaints from my parents, and 3 cars packed full, I finally had my perfect room. Today, even living in a sorority house with 52 other girls, I still consider my space “mine,” because of all the design tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout the journey we like to call college. I am so excited to write for Dormify and share all of my fun, creative and unique ideas with all of you! From apartment life, to sorority life, to just life in general, I’m your girl.
