To start, I am a Junior at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA (the greatest city in the world). I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends, studying and exploring the city. I really enjoy running and kickboxing and try to get to the gym as much as I can. Going for a run in beautiful New Orleans is my way to take my mind off of school and stress. I have always been interested in art and style. My nana is an interior designer in Potomac, MD. I grew up seeing all of the houses she decorated and visiting her for “take your child to work day.” Naturally, when I went off to college I was adamant about having a comfortable and stylish room. Thankfully, my mom felt the same way and together we created a fun and relaxing place for me to live. Last year, I moved off campus into a house with 3 of my best friends. Decorating that was a bit more of a challenge. Not only did I have to decorate my own bedroom, my roommates and I had to work together to create a functional living room and kitchen. To this day, we still move things around and buy new accessories to continue to make our house as homey as possible. Whenever we see cool art downtown in New Orleans (which runs from around $100-$500...not in our budget) we go buy paint and try to make similar stuff that we would like to hang in our house. It is all about creativity! Although I love decorating anything, my real interest is in advertisement and marketing. I plan on graduating Tulane in 2013 with a marketing and finance double major.
