School: University of Maryland Sorority: Kappa Delta Hi! I’m Mackie I’m a sophomore studying criminal justice at the University of Maryland. Growing up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, about 25 minutes away from College Park, I wanted to make the most of my college experience even though I was so close to home. My freshman year I lived in an apartment with 3 girls, which was a huge transition from living with my family. Even though I had to take the responsibility of buying toilet paper and laundry detergent, I had so much freedom when it came to designing and decorating my room! This year I am moving into my sorority house (Kappa Delta) and I can hardly wait! Besides shopping for my room, I’ve spent most of this summer in Bethany (my second home). I love the beach, running, hanging out with friends, and I am addicted to the internet- Facebook, Twitter, and especially online shopping. My obsession with celebrities keeps me watching E! all the time, I can’t stop myself from watching red carpets or Fashion Police. No matter if it’s fashion or interior design room I am always coming up with ideas to add style and spunk.
