Hi there! I’m Renee and I’m currently residing in San Diego California. I grew up in a small town in Northwest New Jersey, and it was a great experience for me. I was an hour away from everything – the beach, the mountains and NYC. Once high school was over I decided to stay close to home and went to a local community college. After receiving my Associate’s Degree I decided it was time to move on to bigger and better. I relocated to Poughkeepsie, NY to attend Marist College, where I majored in communications (concentration in communication studies) and minored in psychology and global studies. I spent my last semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where I was able to travel Europe for four months and then finished out my undergraduate career on a short-term trip to Australia, New Zealand, and Samoa. Once I received my Bachelor’s Degree I was ready to work, which I did, for a year before deciding I really missed school. I felt like I needed more excitement, so I got in my car with my boyfriend and my dog and set out for San Diego. I am now a graduate student at San Diego State University and am a teaching assistant for a public speaking course. I love to explore, meet new people and paint (pictures and my nails), but most of my downtime is spent watching HGTV with my puppy and surfing on Pinterest to find my next project. I rearrange and redesign my room and apartment quite often and LOVE to play with color and texture. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas with you!
