School: Penn State University
As a second semester senior at Penn State University, I am trying to savor each and every moment I still have as an undergraduate student. Though I am enjoying my time here in the happiest of valleys, my junior year of college was by far my best.
I spent my fall semester getting a taste of the “real world,” interning and living in Washington, D.C. In the spring, I took my studies overseas to the most amazing city in the world, London. Now that I have been back to school after the most incredible school year of my life, it is back to reality at Penn State. Lucky for me, this reality has included living in my own apartment for the first time ever in college, which also means having my own room.
Though I have been fortunate enough to have good experiences with college roommates, having my own bedroom has been great. It has given me the chance to decorate and organize everything just the way that I want. In writing for Dormify, I hope to pass on some suggestions of how to take control of your own space and make the most of it, just as I have.
