A simple and easy way to spice up a bland refrigerator or a drab bulletin board is with cute, creative magnets and thumbtacks. Anyone can buy magnets and push pins, but not everyone takes the time to make their own. These handmade magnets will make your friends jealous (unless you share the secret and then, it could be a fun afternoon activity). Read on for a step-by-step tutorial. What You Will Need:

• Circular Magnets (or circular-topped thumbtacks)
• Clear glass stone (usually used to fill flower vases)
• Patterned paper
• Scissors or large hole punch
• Clear glue

1.Use your magnets to draw circles on your patterned paper and cut out. If you feel like splurging or plan to make tons of these little guys, invest in a circle punch. These can be found at most craft and scrapbook shops.

2.Glue the paper circles to the magnets (or push pins).

3.Next, glue the glass stone to the paper (which is already glued to the magnet).  It will look cloudy, but will dry clear.

4.Let your magnets (or push pins) dry for a few hours. Ta-dah! Happy crafting!
