What girl doesn’t like the idea of conquering her dream career in style? Take power icon and career woman Elle Woods, and use her as your dorm style inspiration. You’ll have a totally fabulous dorm room in no time!

Start with buying home accessories in Elle’s signature color, pink. This can be anything from picture frames to sheets, but make sure to start small. Pink can be an overwhelming color in large doses. Try buying a pink picture board or making a tissue holder, like the one seen in this image, to add small bursts of color.

Next, pick an accent print. I love the way black and white look with pink, so zebra is a natural choice, just like Dani W. displays in her room.  Follow this print throughout the room with throw pillows or even a duvet cover.

As I mentioned in my last post, “Using Movies to Inspire Your Space: Breakfast At Tiffany’s,” a poster is a great item to tie together your Hollywood-themed room. If Legally Blonde is your inspiration because Elle Woods is an independent career woman who knows what she wants to do, select a poster that represents what you want to do, but also fits with your theme. Try connecting it to your room’s décor through color or print. I love this one from etsy seller trulyvera—it showcases the colors of the room but still has lawyer flare. It is a perfect example, and is so cute!
