DIY: Quilt from Sheets
Do you have some old sheets that you want to use up or are just in need of a cute new blanket? I can help. This is a post about how to make your own rag quilt! Materials: Queen: 8 different patterned fabrics (1 yard each), 1 contrasting fabric (8 yards) and 1 queen sized batting Twin: 5 different patterned fabrics (1 yard each), 1 contrasting fabric (5 yards) and 1 twin sized batting Matching thread Pins Scissors Sewing machine Ruler/ tape measurer Step 1: Cut your fabrics into 9x9 squares for 240 total squares for the queen and 176 squares for the twin.
