As unfortunate as it is, very few places will let you paint your dorm or apartment.  You want your space to be your own, but you don’t want to anything to be permanent (that can come out of your security deposit). Here are some temporary solutions!

Gallery Wall

Gallery walls are a great way to show off your artistic side!  Get some inexpensive frames and paint them.  Then place cool prints or family photos! Pinterest, varies.

Giant Photo Booth Pictures

Another great way to dress up your dorm is to make any cute picture black and white. Your friends and family will seem like they are right next to you! Pinterest, $1.97

Command Hooks & Strips
