If you’re an intern like me this summer, you are most likely experiencing commuting for the first time. Some routine combination of transportation has developed during the work week. If you are a city gal (like I am this summer), you’ve hopefully figured out the metro and bus systems as well as becoming very well acquainted with the “walking” setting on Google maps. Or maybe you are still living at home and have the luxury of your air-conditioned car. Regardless of the means of commuting, we’re all doing it. To ease the travelling time spent in the summer heat, I am providing some of my favorite Pandora stations. I hope you are able to turn a heated commute into a carefree adventure.
Here are my favorite PANDORA stations and 3 songs you might find:
WILCO: Astral Weeks (Van Morrison), The Stable Song (Gregory Alan Isakov), California Stars (Billy Bragg & Wilco)
THE SHINS: Young Pilgrams (The Shins), Situations (Jack Johnson), MoneyGraber (Fitz & The Tantrums)
BEYONCE: Best Thing I Never Had (Beyonce), Bonnie & Clyde (Jay- Z), Rockstar 101 (Rihanna)
THE BEATLES: All My Loving (Paul McCartney), With a Little Help From My Friends (The Beatles), For What It’s Worth (Buffalo Springfield)
NORAH JONES: Why Georgia (John Mayer), Lucky (Jason Mraz), She is Love (Parachute)
MODEST MOUSE: Psychotic Girl (The Black Keys), Tongue Tied (Grouplove), The Good Times are Killing Me (Modest Mouse)
